who we are
Yes, it true that time flies when you are surrounded by beautiful horses and doing what you love! This small family business is very passionate about horses, camps, and organizing activities for kids and teenagers for more than 25 years. Camp LOA (previously called Norm’s Gym Camps) is proud to offer year-round horseback riding lesson camps, school outings, and pony’s birthday parties.
We feel privileged to have served so many since 1996. We are speechless and proud to share that over 15,000+ kids, teenagers, and adults too have enrolled in one of the many programs offered
Maybe, now it’s your turn…
Horseback Riding Lessons
We offer "English Riding" lessons such as hunter, jumper, and dressage disciplines. Most of our clientele are beginners and intermediate-level riders. If you are a new or experienced rider, we have what it takes to satisfied your need to ride and enjoy the best sport in the world. The good news is that you don't need to buy a horse to start riding lessons. We have invested a lot of time, energy, and love into training our horses for new riders with little or no experience.
On a second note, we also have a great lineup of show jumping horses to bring any competitive riders to the winner’s circle.
Camp LOA is happy to celebrate 25 years of offering summer camps. We are a small family business run by the undeniable mother-daughter duo and their team. Needless to say, we love kids and we love to offer them the best experience a parent wants to give their child during their beautiful summer vacation.
In the past 8 years, we have narrowed down our offering by focusing exclusively on horseback riding camps. You can enroll your child in one week or multiple weeks as it's commonly the case. We offer 7 weeks of day camps and usually 1 week only of sleepover camp.
Be sure to book your spot early this year as it was sold out last year in only a couple of weeks. We have space for 20 riders per week.
Field Trips at Camp LOA
Camp LOA started opening up its door to groups and field trips in 2012. We never expected the demand and the feedback to be so good. Since then, we have never stopped welcoming visitors. We realized that not many people have had the opportunity to experience the country lifestyle, surrounded by animals, forest, private lakes, and so much more.
Once things get back to normal, and life without distanciation becomes things of the past, considering a field trip could be a tremendous idea once again.
